Nushrratt Bharuccha Reveals Emotional Journey of Fulfilling Her Dream of Owning a Range Rover, Set to Take Her First Drive on Dhanteras

For Bollywood actor Nushrratt Bharuccha, Dhanteras is special because she has finally got her long-time wish to have a luxury car-a brand-new Range Rover. According to the actor, who always wanted to have this vehicle, the timing of its arrival was just coincidental. “I booked the car about eight months ago, and it had a waiting period.”. I did not know when it was coming, but it was so beautiful how it timed with Dhanteras,” she says.

What’s interesting is that Nushrratt kept the entire purchase a secret from her family. “No one knew except the dealer and me. When the car came in, my parents were surprised. I took them downstairs, and they saw the car—it was an emotional moment for everyone,” she says.

Nushrratt feels that the Range Rover, for her, is a dream car; she belongs to the middle class. “The feeling of achieving something big, which was out of your league, is huge. No one in my family has ever owned a luxury car. So, this means a lot to me,” she adds.

Although Nushrratt is extremely happy to get a new purchase, she has yet to drive the car since she was busy with schedules. She is looking forward to Dhanteras – that will be her first drive, marking within the festival. She further argues it’s not about the possession of material things but much more, “I think my family is with me, healthy, and happy.”. Diwali is when she plans a puja at home; lighting diyas and embracing the festive spirit along with close friends.
