Nita Ambani Celebrates India’s Rich Textile Heritage in Stunning Manish Malhotra Sarees at Vantara Inauguration
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated Vantara, Gem and Jewel City in Jamnagar, Gujarat, which marks a milestone in wildlife conservation in India. Gracing the event, lending elegance and cultural richness to the ceremony, was Nita Ambani in two stunning sarees designed by Manish Malhotra, the well-known fashion designer. While wearing the outfit, she not only promoted the rich Indian textile traditions but also had her strongest backing for the breathtaking creativity of Indian craftsmanship.
Manish Malhotra shared some mesmerizing pictures of Nita Ambani in these intricately created sarees on Instagram. He also expressed admiration for her devotion in taking Indian handlooms to the global pedestal. “It’s always an honor and pleasure working with Nita… designing, curating her looks, and she is such a pillar of inspiration with her ever-constant support and love for Indian handlooms and textiles, and always showcasing them on a global platform,” he captioned the post.

For her first look, Nita Ambani wore an exquisite pink double Ikat Patola saree, just stunning as a nine-figure Adtala design masterpiece. This gorgeous saree was brought from Rajshrungar Sarees- it had taken seven months to make. It was a wonderful piece of this resist-dyeing craft and took seven artisans to weave it. The exquisite pink depth with complex patterns defined the graceful sophistication of the saree. Nita matched her look with a fancy diamond ring, a stunning Ganesha necklace made from ultra-rare conch pearls, stacked bangles, and a light makeup look. She left her hair open, allowing the grandeur of the saree to take the center stage.
Nita brought a beautifully hand-woven Murshidabad silk saree from Swadesh Online for her next outfit. The overwhelmingly light base of this saree was burdened by beautiful hand block printing in orange and pink shades, making it a stunningly elegant piece, reminiscent of the finesse with which Bengali craft could produce and a truly fitting tribute to the great textile legacy of India. Accompanied by this look was a regal Kundan necklace, matching earrings, and cascading bangles. Round-shape sunglasses and a classic hair bun adorned with a beautifully scented gajra completed the look. True to her signature makeup style, she looked ethereal and dignified.
