Nita Ambani took everyone by surprise by wearing an exquisite saree designed by Manish Malhotra at her son Anant Ambani’s Mangal Utsav ceremony with Radhika Merchant. It was the closest to what Manish is all about and at the same time the attire Nita prefers – Indian workmanship.

The saree proved to be of splendid colour where intricate thread work and floral prints were done to near impeccable detail where even the accents glittered to give her outfit a festive note. Dressed in an embroidered pink shirt that she accessorized with a stylish hat, she complemented the garment with a zari border and rich texture that could grace a royal wedding – a masterpiece if there is one.

When explaining Nita Ambhani’s outfit, Manish Malhotra said, “The lovely and elegant Mrs Nita Ambani wearing our pvint multi resham kadhwa floral woven brocade saree symbolises the overall tradition of India.” The saree was accentuated with real silver work and a blouse made out of silver zari which gives the traditional look with grace and class just as any Indian woman.

To complement her royal appearance, Nita wore some elegant diamond trinkets around her neck, on her fingers and wrist which complemented her jewelry set. Her hair was well made with a classy bun besides, flowers wreath gave a fresh and delicate impression.

The ceremonial night of Mangal Utsav with the presence of stars from Bollywood was a celebration of the couple’s unity and nuptial bliss that truly encourage the onlookers with enthralling performances.
