How did Nawazuddin and Aaliya fail each other?
Accusations against actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui continue to pile up. The series of accusations against the actor does not seem to calm down. Nawazuddin has been in an ugly legal tussle with his estranged wife Aaliya.
Aaliya recently claimed that Nawazuddin threw her and their two children out of his house. Over the past few months, Aaliya levelled several accusations against him. She claimed she only has ₹81 to her name and nowhere to go.
She has also filed a rape complaint against the actor. Aaliya has alleged that the actor is trying to steal her kids away from her, in a custody battle. His brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui had also claimed that his brother has a habit of “abandoning” people as he first abandoned his wife and then him.
Nawaz finally broke the silence
On 6 March 2023, Nawazuddin finally broke his silence. He took to social media to share a long elaborate note. He said that people have termed him as a ‘bad guy’ after hearing only one side of the story.
“The reason I have kept quiet is that all this tamasha will somewhere be read by my small children”.
Nawazuddin believes his character is being assassinated based on “one-sided and manipulated videos”. To set the record straight, he shared several pointers.
Nawaz said that his wife Aaliya had abandoned their children in Dubai, and would take large sums of money from him every month. “My kids have been made hostage for the past 45 days and are missing their schooling in Dubai”. Nawaz claimed that he has financed multiple movies, and given her a house and a car. “On average, she is being paid approx 10 lakhs per month for the past 2 years and 5-7 lakhs per month before moving to Dubai with my children, excluding the school fees, medical, travel and other leisure activities”.
He insisted that Aaliya keeps filing complaints and cases against him to extort more money from him, and backs off when she gets paid. In conclusion, he held that Aaliya’s sole purpose is to “blackmail me, malign my reputation, she intends to spoil my career”.
“This is not an allegation but expressing my emotions”, he shared.
Meanwhile, Nawazuddin was allegedly not allowed to enter his Versova bungalow in Mumbai to meet his ailing mother. As per a widely shared video, the actor was denied entry despite repeated requests.

Ugly divorces and troubled marriages are not new for b-town celebrities. But Nawaz and Aaliya’s matter is in the public domain for more than 2 years now. Nawaz’s lawyer has levied some serious allegations against Aaliya but people want to know how the love turned into a rift between the two.

Nawaz and Aaliya were in a living relationship, passionate about each other. However, their quarrels were constant. They decided to resolve their terms several times but eventually gave up on each other.
Nawaz opted for an arranged marriage to move on
It is said that Nawaz tried to move on but in an arranged way this time. His mother set him up with a girl named Sheeba. But that too did not work out for him and they parted ways.
Anjali Kishor Pandey urf Aaliya re-entered Nawaz’s life
The failed marriage with Sheeba brought him close to his ex, Anjali Kishore Pandey who converted to Islam to get married to Nawaz. In 2009, they got married and in 2011 were blessed with a baby girl Shora and in 2015 with a boy Yaani.
Here the trouble began…
It is alleged that Nawaz’s extramarital affairs were the cause of trouble in their marriage. Aaliya also said that the actor’s family were torturing her and refused to provide even the bare necessities.
‘He let his manager hug my daughter inappropriately’
Aaliya recently claimed that Nawaz is an irresponsible father. She said that the Sacred Games actor’s manager used to hug their teen daughter inappropriately even after several objections. She even went on to say that Nawaz allowed his male manager to travel to another country and stay in a single room with her consent and knowledge.
In her statement, Aaliya also accused Nawazuddin of using his ‘money and political power’ to file a case against her. She even accused cops of being biased towards the actor. This statement comes days after Nawazuddin issued an open letter claiming that social media and the press are enjoying his character assassination based on one-sided and manipulated videos.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Aaliya were caught in a war of allegations and now both of them are sharing their side of the story on social media. The Bombay High Court had earlier suggested the couple resolve the matter amicably, keeping the best interests of their children in mind. Previously, Nawazuddin Siddiqui had approached the High Court with a writ plea of habeas corpus that demanded that Aaliya Siddiqui should disclose the location of their children.
Seems like the troubles for the actor are far from getting over.
