Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are all set to tie the knot on December 4 in Hyderabad. The couple recently celebrated their haldi ceremony, and pictures and videos from the event have gone viral on social media.

Ahead of the haldi, Sobhita shared glimpses of her pre-wedding Pasupu Danchadam ceremony on Instagram. She captioned the post, Godhuma Raayi Pasupu Danchadam. And so it begins. In the pictures, she wore a saree with a gold and green border and performed rituals surrounded by the women in her family.

Pasupu Danchadam is a traditional Telugu pre-wedding ritual. Pasupu means turmeric, and Danchadam refers to crushing. The ceremony symbolizes the start of wedding festivities, as the bride crushes turmeric while seeking blessings from elders.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita’s engagement took place in August this year in a private ceremony in Hyderabad, attended by family and close friends. Veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya’s father, announced the happy news by sharing engagement photos on social media.

This will be Naga Chaitanya’s second marriage. He was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple announced their separation in October 2021.

Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya’s wedding has been eagerly anticipated by fans, and the pre-wedding celebrations have already created a buzz online. The couple’s big day promises to be a grand affair.
