A recent picture that was posted by Mohammed Siraj with Zanai Bhosle, who is Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter, sparked dating rumors after it went viral on social media. The picture taken during the celebration of 23rd birthday of Zanai shown both of them candidly in a moment of glee, giving rise to an internet frenzy rife with speculations regarding their relationship. Both Zanai and Siraj, however, have put the rumors to rest stating they share a sibling kind of relationship rather than anything romantic.

A few hours ago, Zanai took to her Instagram story to re-share the viral picture with the cricketer. To put the rumors to rest, she wrote, “Mere pyaare bhai” (My lovely brother), emphasizing the brother-sister relationship they share. Siraj, too, echoed the same sentiment by reposting her story and sharing a heartfelt poem dedicated to Zanai. The poem read, “Meri Behna Ke Jaisi Koi Behna Nahin.”. Bina Iske Kahin Bhi Mujhe Rehna Nahin. Jaise I lai Chaand Sitaaron Mein. Meri Behna Hai Ek Hazaaron Mein,” with deep expressions of love and affection towards her as a sister.

The viral photo featured Zanai looking dashing in a black sequined dress while Siraj wore a black tee with a matching jacket. Both of them were clicked smiling brightly, gazing into each other’s eyes that further fueled speculation about a potential romantic relationship. However, the clarification by both parties almost immediately dispelled that rumor, indicating that they do not date, but share an intense, brotherly bond.

Among those who attended the birthday bash for Zanai were cricketers Shreyas Iyer, Siddhesh Lad, and Suyash Prabhudessai, actress Ayesha Khan, and actor Abhay Verma. Also, the Bollywood superstar Jackie Shroff and her grandmother, Asha Bhosle, came to bless her 23rd birthday.

On the professional front, Zanai Bhosle is all set to make her Bollywood debut in the upcoming film The Pride of Bharat- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the movie, she will portray the role of Rani Sai Bhonsale, the wife of the legendary warrior King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Zanai is also an accomplished singer and dancer and will soon release her debut single, “Kehndi Hai,” on January 27, 2025.
