New Delhi: The star cast of the upcoming Bollywood film Mere Husband Ki Biwi—Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, and Bhumi Pednekar—recently visited Delhi to promote their film. The promotional event took place at Shangri-La Hotel, where the actors interacted with the media and shared insights about the film, which is set for release on February 21, 2025.
A modern-day romantic comedy
Mere Husband Ki Biwi is a romantic comedy set in Delhi that combines humour, love, and surprising turns. The plot revolves around Ankur, played by Arjun Kapoor, who finds himself in a precarious situation as his life takes an unexpected turn involving two ladies, Antara and Prabhleen. As emotions run high and fate intervenes, the story unfolds with both amusing and heartwarming scenes.
Title Inspired by a Marathi Play
Speaking at the event, Arjun Kapoor revealed the inspiration behind the film’s unique title. “The title Mere Husband Ki Biwi is taken from a popular Marathi play. It perfectly suits the film’s storyline and adds an element of curiosity among the audience,” he said.
Bhumi Pednekar on Her Character
Bhumi Pednekar, who plays Prabhleen Dhillon, described her character as impulsive and full of energy. “Prabhleen is a hectic and unpredictable woman, and if I had to choose a song that matches her personality, it would be Bijlee Bijlee,” she said, referring to the popular track.

Rakul Preet Singh discusses the film’s appeal
