Mahesh Manjrekar Calls Shah Rukh Khan an Underrated Actor, Wants Him to Play a Skilled Assassin in a Future Film
Mahesh Manjrekar, who has a career in Bollywood and other regional cinemas, recently came forth and claimed that SRK is underrated as an actor; he further said that SRK is a brilliant and brilliant star. The denial is done by Manjrekar, saying that the said superstar’s acting prowess has not been given its fair share of appreciation in the industry. On the contrary, he [Mahesh] had grown to really admire our King Khan by extension.
The Marriage of Mahesh Manjrekar with SRK
While in Pinkvilla, Mahesh Manjrekar, in an interview, talked about Shah Rukh Khan’s acting potential. To Manjrekar, SRK is an amazing actor. “There is one actor who, as an actor, is highly under-rated, but I think he is a genius—Shah Rukh Khan. He is an outstanding actor. He is so natural in front of the camera,” Manjrekar said.
Dreaming for SRK to Play Professional Killer
In further response, Manjrekar stated his euphoria at alluring Khan to act in a movie involving a professional killer, as he is well turned out and quite meticulous everywhere. “This is the role that I think he has to do of a professional hired killer; he is in a spotless white shirt with rimless spectacles, walking and the classical tail of a well-dressed assassin. And an assassin who must be identified appropriately with an economist’s) a very, very, very good role.”
Khan maintained a strong bond with his fans even now; hence, his blockbuster carrier has never been left to oversee itself. He was most recently seen in the movie Dunki, which was made by Rajkumar Hirani. The film also starred Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Paanu. Anyways, the movie was very well appreciated and added another feather to SRK’s glory.
He is currently busy shooting his next movie, King. King is the second film after Pathaan, a blockbuster that proved to hold significance in SRK’s career-earth. The hero, Suhana [Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter], is also on board for this particular film. A parallel lead is portrayed by Munjya’s Abhay Verma. Information about King is hiding, but SRK has promised that this will be an entertaining experience.
Talking about the movie, he revealed, “I am just filming it. I will be filming it for a few months. My director, Siddharth Anand, is very particular. He made Pathaan too. He has requested me not to speak about what we are doing. I can’t tell you, but I can guarantee you that it will be fun. You will like it.”

SRK is Experiencing A New Phase
Even though Shah Rukh Khan is already considered an industry giant, the role of an assassin might add an exciting new element to his career. With the dark and complex characters, he could be challenged and prove his versatility no less.
