Munjya OTT Release Date: Directed and produced by Sangeeth P Rajendirarathna, Munjya, the horror comedy-drama released in theatres on 7 th June is all set to go digital soon. Made under Zee Studios the film featuring Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, Sathyaraj in lead was directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. As per early estimation, the mid-budget film has been roaring at the box office as it collected Rs 7.75 crore on the third day. Till fourth day, the moviemakers could gather Rs 23 crore in the total box office earnings.
The movie illustrated an inspiration of the life of a young man who encountered with a maleficent spirit known as ‘Munjya’ on his visit to his homeland. Desperately, the ghost of this interior hooker wanted to get married.
But in later part, the individual struggles to save him and his love from clutches of Munjya. Varun Dhawan was present in cameo role and Abhishek Banerjee was also part of Meer Foundation’s cameo. About it, Varun congratulated the team for its massive success and also revealed his cameo in it to the audiences. Shaitaan, Laapataa Ladies and Madgaon Express followed the similar trend of releasing the movie on digital platform after two months it hits the theater, thus, there are chances that Munjya will follow the same way. Munjya is likely to be launched on the OTT platform towards the last week of July or the first week of August.
However, there are no such authenticating releases done on the same. By reports, the famous digital OTT platform in the continent, Disney+ Hotstar has recently got the digital rights of the film.
