Laila Majnu’ was a relatively big hit and reportedly grossed over Rs 3 crore in its lifetime when it was first released. The movie is expected to exceed the amount that was earned early and within the space of two days the movie had earned Rs 1 crore. It was a major feat for the film as ‘Laila Majnu’ had a limited release.

Following its rerelease in theaters, the crowd has been overwhelmingly supportive of Laila Majnu, which stars Avinash Tiwari and Tripti Dimri. Although the film received positive reviews, its first 2018 release did not do well at the box office. The main characters of the film are Qais and Laila, who fall in love but split up after Laila is made to wed someone else. The film has been doing well at the box office since its re-release, and it is probably going to surpass its initial lifetime collection.
Laila Majnu was released and after that, Tripti expressed gratitude to the audience. She wrote, It was all summed up by the “Group Hug”. We are all over the moon with the response that our film is getting… . I still recall six years back when the film released there were hardly 10 people in the theatre and fast forward to last night where there was hardly any space for us to sit. .. . I am weeping tears of joy. .. this film is a part of me and I am so grateful for all the love.
