Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif was recently spotted at the holy Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, on a spiritual pilgrimage with her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal. The trip came after her husband, Vicky Kaushal’s pilgrimage to the revered site. Katrina and Veena Kaushal were spotted at Parmarth Niketan, where they met Swami Chidanand Saraswati at his ashram located at the Maha Kumbh camp. Katrina appeared elegant and understated in a peach salwar kurta that complemented the serene and spiritual ambiance well.
Thankful to Almighty for the chance being provided to her to experience Maha Kumbh, Katrina expressed her experience of heaven on earth. Talking to ANI in an interview, she stated, “I am very fortunate that I was able to come here this time: I am truly happy and grateful. I met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and took his blessings”. I am just beginning My experience here. I truly adore the vibe and beauty and meaning of everything. I look forward to being here the whole day”. Her words emanated from the depths of her heart as an expression of respect for the cultural and religious significance of the Maha Kumbh Mela, one of the largest religious gatherings around the globe.

Before Katrina arrived there, Vicky Kaushal too had made a pilgrimage to the Maha Kumbh Mela during the promotion of his latest film, Chhaava. The popular actor shared his joy and thankfulness at being able to witness this sacred event by saying, “I am feeling good. I was waiting to visit Mahakumbh.” I feel blessed that I got to come here”. The journey only renewed the couple’s immense respect and disposition toward spiritual and cultural traditions.
