Finally, Katrina tops off the already glitzy look with this royal blue corset lehenga set custom-made for her by Mahima Mahajan to once again walk the ramp with grace at her close friend and filmmaker Karishma Kohli’s wedding. Against the colourful and popping summer backdrop, this structure-cum-draped ensemble was everything we dream of in wedding fashion this summer.

Well, surprise surprise as Katrina actually picked this sheer lehenga from Mahima Mahajan’s Fitoor A/W 2024 collection. Keeping tradition well in sync with the contemporary, Mahajan really stitched an outfit that looked like a fine amalgamation of exquisite handiwork and a summer-appropriate vibe. Floral motifs delicately embroidered by hand on organza made this lehenga drape around one’s knees royal, topping off Katrina’s look very artfully.

This is one of those rare outfits that had a structured corset and a typical lehenga silhouette combined, so this one was quite appropriate for maids of honor who want to make a statement. The rich embroidered dupatta instantly boosted the ki bar and was heavily inspired by nature with blingy details that made it even more extraordinary. And just that pastel color theme softened the romanticism of the lehenga, so in sync with trends for weddings in summer.

It’s Kesar yellow for Isabelle Kaif (Katrina’s sister) too and she too pulled it off from the same Fitoor collection. The Kaif sisters just proved how bridesmaids can look elegant while soaking in the wedding hues. Such Mahima Mahajan ensembles will be seen in wedding wardrobes this season.

Light, breezy, festive and with just the right amount of drama – it was perfect for an Indian wedding. Elevated enough to be sophisticated yet comfortable enough to move in as Katrina took to the dance floor to groove for her friend, making the special day even more special dancing on the famous Suraj Ki Baahon Mein, from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, with also Mini Mathur and Sairah Kabir Khan, Kabir Khan’s daughter.

Katrina also wished the bride Karishma on Instagram and posted several beautiful candid photos of the wedding clicked by Kabir Khan. We saw quite a few pictures from that wedding album featuring Mini Mathur too, who looked pretty in a red saree along with the other glitz and glam of the festivities.
