Kapil Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, and Others Face Serious Death Threats: A Matter of Concern

Kapil Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Remo D’Souza, and Sugandha Mishra Receive Death Threats from Pakistan; Police Launch Investigation

A shocking development arrived as a death threat was received through emails by popular comedian Kapil Sharma, actor Rajpal Yadav, choreographer Remo D’Souza, and singer Sugandha Mishra, all of which reportedly originated from Pakistan. As has been reported, the threatening emails were sent by an individual who claimed to have been monitoring their activities closely and identifying himself as ‘Vishnu’.

The email, raising serious concerns, stated, “We are observing your recent actions closely. We feel that we must draw sensitive attention to something in your life. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you. We would like you to take this message seriously and maintain confidentiality.” The sender also gave an ultimatum with a threat of “dangerous consequences” if his unspecified demands were not met within eight hours.

The celebrities immediately complained to the police about the threats. The Amboli Police, based on a complaint filed by Rajpal Yadav’s wife, have registered an FIR under Section 351(3) of the BNS against an unknown individual. The same has happened with Sugandha Mishra and Remo D’Souza, who also lodged complaints for their safety and to initiate the investigation.

Recently, he even anchored a comedy show, The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix and was also an actor in some of the films including Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, Firangi, Zwigato, and Crew.

Speaking to media persons after an event in New Delhi, Kapil shared an emotional anecdote describing how far he has come in the last two decades. “Twenty years ago, I came to this very hotel to perform as a chorus singer. Today, I’m here receiving an award. I’m truly grateful to God for everything,” he said.
