Season 2 (2007), Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa; Winner

Prachi Desai has now established herself as a Bollywood actor. She started her Bollywood career with Rock On. Her film Kosha is waiting for a release this year. Deepak Singh is a well-known Bollywood choreographer and was associated with Jhalak for a very long period.

Born to into-Tanzanian parents and brought up in Kuwait, Sofia Jaffer identifies as an Indian choreographer. However, she has now turned into a DJ.

Meiyang Chang and Marischa Fernandes

An actor, singer, TV host, dentist, and now a dancer, Meiyang Chang has not left any niche to explore. He entered the entertainment world with Indian Idol but gained popularity with his role in Badmaash Company. Marischa Fernandes is a professional dancer and choreographer. Since then, she has been an integral part of JDJ, and we expect her in the upcoming season.

Gurmeet Choudhary and Shampa Sonthalia

Gurmeet Choudhary, a famous TV actor and now a Bollywood celeb, got his first break with Kumkum- Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan but gained popularity by playing Lord Rama in Ramayana. Daughter of Gopi Krishna, Shampa Sonthalia, had set a world record by continuously doing Kathak for 9 hours and 20 minutes.

Drashti Dhami and Salman Yusuff

Drashti Dhami is on a break from TV. She last appeared in the web series The Empire. The winner of Dance India Dance, Salman Yusuff, didn’t restrict his identity as a choreographer. He has appeared in films like ABCD and Street Dancer 3D.

Season 7 (2014), Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa: Winner

Ashish Sharma

Winner of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7, Asish is a well-known name in the Telly industry. However, he has not been seen in any new series or film post-pandemic.

Faisal Khan

After winning Dance India Dance Li’l Masters 2, Faisal Khan appeared in many reality and TV shows. You can see him as Guru Dev in the popular daily Dharm Yoddha Garud.

Season 9 (2016), Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa: Winner

Teriya Magar

A Nepalese dancer based in Mumbai who remains highly active on social media was also the winner of JDJ season 9.
