Jeetendra appeared mostly opposite Sridevi and Jaya Prada but was teamed with other actresses and created some of the most popular pairs in Bollywood. In the 1980s alone, many SouthIndian filmmakers, especially in the Telugu and Tamil remakes, would approach Jeetendra for his directorship.

Awards and Recognition

In recognition of contributions to Indian cinema, Jeetendra was awarded a Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003 and a Screen Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006.

Personal Life

Jeetendra tied the knot with Shobha Kapoor in 1974. The couple has two children: Ekta Kapoor, a prominent television and film producer, and Tusshar Kapoor, an actor in the Hindi film industry.
