Jasmin Bhasin Provides Update on Eye Injury After Corneal Damage

Jasmin Bhasin, a popular TV actress, has recently posted the latest development regarding her health after she worried people when she said she had made a mistake of using a contact lens. It is unfortunate that due to a one time incident with her lenses, the poor actress now suffers from almost total loss of vision due to severe damage with her corneas. The news which soon spread like wildfire was discussed in an interview that Jasmin had with Bombay Times where she explains the unfortunate event that took place as well as its repercussions.

Jasmin shared her story: “On July 17, I was in Delhi for an event and preparing for it, and suddenly I felt severe pain from the contact lenses I wore; but because of the prior commitments involved in the theme, I proceeded with the event only to get medical help afterward. Hence, her vision was impaired during the event, and she had to wear sunglasses and relied on her team for assistance. For corneal training and putting on of bandages on her eyes, she was taken to an eye specialist she could only visit at night.
At the current situation, Jasmin requires treatment and the pain she feels is severe. She said, “The recovery process is challenging. The doctors expect that it would take four to five days to heal me but the pains and blurry vision affect my rest time.” Nonetheless, Jasmin is eager to rush back to official duties. ‘‘Fortunately I have not had to postpone any work of mine, let us hope to get back to normal before long,” she said.

Of course though while Jasmin is not currently appearing on TV she is staying in the limelight thanks to her connection with Aly Goni. It is however worth to note that in the recent past, Jasmin was quizzed about her plans for the future, and she stated that marriage is not in the near future. “We have not outlined any goals on when and where we plan on settling down, marrying or having children. We will do this when we feel ready, but for now, we both have our careers to focus on,” she said.
