Janhvi Kapoor had recently reminisced about the bridal shower of her friend, Radhika Merchant and had shared some interesting trivia about the same. The actress later shared the moments when she shot and dealt with the involvement of Shikhar Pahariya and Anant Ambani at the party.
he young bride-to-be, Radhika Merchant, who was recently married to Anant Ambani on the 12th of July, received lots of attention when she was taking photos during her bridal shower held in April. Janhvi, speaking in the interview with Mashable India about the event, established that she felt a lot of stress while preparing for it. She went on to say, “It was not the last minute situation but the idea dawned on us that the event cannot be ordinary so we all woke up the panic button to make it extraordinary.”
The concept of a bridal shower is to make the bride to be feel special on the day, and Janhvi and other friends wanted to ensure that Radhika had a good one. “She is always very caring towards all of us and thought, as friends, we should do something for her before she appears on such a major platform,” Janhvi further said.
But there was an unexpected turn of events when several men including the then groom to be Anant Ambani and Janhvi’s boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya arrived at the venue. When asked whether the men stormed the party, Janhvi responded, “No, we actually planned to do so because we are in desperate need of each other as friends”.
Radhika Radhika’s bridal shower was filled with nice themes and it wasn’t only bridesmaids dressed in pink pajamas and tiaras, the bride also was dressed in white outfit and a lovely crown. Janhvi also shared a picture of the celebration on Insta Story with the caption: ‘A Princess Diaries Royal slumber party for the most special bride,’.

In the professional front, Janhvi Kapoor is now working on action thriller titled ‘Ulajh’ which is schedule to release on 2nd august. It includes a pivotal cast, which includes Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, and Adil Hussain. After that Mathukutty will be seen in Devara and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Janhvi.
