India has produced many tremendous original series and will continue to do so in the future. After original masterpieces like Mirzapur, Patal Lok, Panchayat, here’s a list of upcoming Original Indian OTT Series that will keep you on the lookout!
1. Hiccups and Hookups
Hiccups and hookups is an upcoming Original Indian OTT Series that marks the debut of Lara Dutta in OTT platforms. A Lionsgate Play Original production, Hiccups and Hookups is a dramatic potryal of a ‘no-filter’ family that need to get their stuff together. Lara Dutta plays a single mother who’s recently separated from her partner. The series will also star Prateik Babbar who plays Lara’s brother. The story is about their lives of these siblings and Lara’s teenage daughter.
The series will stream on Lionsgate Play India on November 26,2021.
2. Aranyak
Aranyak is an Original Indian OTT Series starring Raveena Tandon. This series will also star Ashutosh Rana and Parambrata. Set on the foothills of Himalaya, the story of Aranyak revolves around the two cops and a myth going around the place. The series will be released on Netflix on December 10.
3. Decoupled
Decoupled is an upcoming Original Indian OTT series that will star R. Madhavan and Surveen Chopra. Created by Manu Joseph, the series a comedy drama of a couple and their separation. The trailer of this series have raised the hopes of the audience and the fans eagerly await another smashing performance by Maddy. The series will air on Netflix on December 17.
4. Finding Anamika
Our very own Madhuri Dixit Nene will make a debut on the digital screen with the series Finding Anamika. Not much is known about the series but from a few sources, it is found that the story of Finding Anamika will revolve around the life of a global superstar, a wife and a mom who vanishes without a trace. The series will air on Netflix, however the release date is unknown.
5. Mismatched, season 2
Mismatched, season 2, as the name suggests is a sequel to its first season. Dimple, Rishi, Namrata and the rest of the gang are returning for a new season of this young adult drama. The series will air on Netflix but the dates are yet to be announced.

6. Rana Naidu
Rana Naidu is an upcoming Original Indian OTT Series that will star the real life uncle- nephew duo, Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati. The series is the Indian adaptation of the American series called ‘ Ray Donovan’. The series will air on Netflix. Netflix announced this series on Twitter.
7. Six Suspects
Produced by Ajay Devgn, the upcoming series, Six Suspects is a adaptation of the novel of the same name by the famous author Vikas Swarup. The show was announced by Devgn himself on twitter. The series will star Pratik Gandhi and will be aired on Disney+ Hotstar.
