Luv Kush Ramlila, which is organized in Delhi for many years, will be organized from October 15 to October 25 this year. President of Ramlila Committee, Arjun Kumar gave more detailed information about this in a press conference at the Constitution Club in Delhi today. On this occasion, the officers and artists of Luv Kush Ramlila Committee hoisted the tricolor flag at the venue and wished everyone a happy Independence Day.

Luv Kush Ramlila is considered to be the most popular event in Delhi. With new wonderful, modern experiments, a grand leela in Luv Kush Ramlila is to be held this year. Every effort is being made to make it beautiful and graceful. Latest technology is also being used for this. For the first time this year, the effigy of Ravana will be shown with laser technique. Mumbai’s renowned dress designer Vishnu Patil is going to make the costumes of all the characters of Luv Kush Ramlila this time.

Also, people will be able to enjoy a variety of famous dishes of Old Delhi as a number of food stalls will be put up, like every year. On 17th September many programs will be organized including health camps.
Grand stage like that of Kashi Vishwanath temple:
This time, like the Kashi Vishwanath temple, the stage of Luv Kush Ramlila is being made. This grand set is being made by experienced craftsmen from Varanasi, Mathura, Rajasthan, and Haryana. Ramlila will be held in Shiv Dham on this grand set made 150 feet long and 65 feet high. A set of 31 feet Kailash mountain and dense forest will also be made. This time a grand three-storey stage will be made. On this set Kevat ji’s Jagat Palan Haar Shri Ram, Lakshman, Mata Sita‘s crossing the river by boat will be shown in a novel way. And on the second floor with 3D-mapping effects 200 X 14 huge L.E.D will be used. Prabhu Shri Ram’s grand Leela will be staged daily on the huge stage with integrated and digital Dolby sound.
Staging of Luv Kush Ramlila will be completely digital and hi-tech as always. It will be broadcast internationally too [ on doordarshan ]. A laser light effigy of Ravana and Kumbhkaran will be shown.
Bollywood iconic stars Mukesh Rishi and Amita Nangia roped in to play important roles:
Talking to the One World News Media, Bollywood star Mukesh Rishi, who is playing the role of Ravana in this leela, said that he had been interested in cinema as well as participating in religious programs since childhood. Mukesh Rishi said that he is very happy and excited that this time also he has got the opportunity to play Ravana in the Ramlila.
Apart from this, Bollywood actress Amita Nangia, who is famous for playing the role of Mandodari, has been given this opportunity to play the role again and she seems very excited about it. Apart from this, many other actors were also present in this press conference like famous TV actor Mohit Tyagi who will be seen playing the role of Vibhishan in this Ram Ki Leela, another TV actor Jassi Singh will also be seen playing the role of Meghnath in the same.
Reminiscent of the Grand Celebrations of 2022
Over the years, the event has become a hallmark of the national capital, with people from far flung areas coming to witness Ramlila during Navratri. The organizers made the 2022 Ramlila a grand event as the country celebrated 75 years of independence along with the beginning of the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
This year’s Ramlila will be different on many levels. A bigger and more attractive platform will be created than before. There will be seating arrangements for 40,000 people during the event, which means 15,000 more people than usual will be able to watch Ramlila this time.
On the day of Dussehra, huge effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna and Meghnad will be burnt. These mannequins will be of 100 feet, 90 feet and 80 feet respectively. Kumar said, They will be made by Muslim artists from Uttar Pradesh. This year the effigies will be bigger in size. The artists revealed that this time the event will be grand as India is celebrating 76 years of independence and the Ram temple is being built.
