Govinda’s Wife Sunita Ahuja Clears the Air About Their Separate Living Arrangements: ‘Ab Jawan Beti Hai, Hum Shorts…’

In recent days, Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s matrimony was in the news over conflicting reports of a probable divorce. Reports had even suggested that Sunita had issued a divorce notice to the actor six months ago. But a lawyer of the couple recently clarified the story of their reconciliation and burying of the past. Nevertheless, the clarification has gained more traction with the circulating viral video of Sunita confidently addressing the rumors.

The video contains a lot of things from Sunita concerning the real reason leading to their arrangement to live separately, a lot of allegations that have been fabricated. According to Sunita, the arrangement was undertaken when Govinda entered into politics. She explained that it became difficult for her family and children to maintain any semblance of privacy due to all the party workers coming to their house while Govinda was politically active himself. Sunita also added that they would often walk around in shorts, which encouraged them to opt for separate space for an office near home for convenience. She made it clear that there is no conflict between her and Govinda, confident to state, “If anyone in this world dares to separate me and Govinda, let them come forward.”

Sunita then addressed the constant rumor speculating their marriage and especially the reason she had been celebrating her birthday alone for 12 years. That was viewed by many as a sign of trouble between the couple, but Sunita belied that notion, claiming that it was merely her individual choice.

Govinda and Sunita have been man and wife since March 1987 and have two children, Tina (1988) and a son, Yashvardhan. With that said, Sunita usually shares snaps of their close-knit family life, thereby reiterating the bond that they share as a family, on social media. While reports suggested over increasing lifestyle differences and disagreements about tensions between the couple, Sunita’s declarations to the camera have laid those rumors to rest.

While some sections of the media suggested his growing closeness with some younger actresses might be responsible for the couple’s reported problems, Govinda’s team has dismissed the allegations as baseless and a mere figment of imagination. Sunita’s declaration stands testimony that no matter how much speculation arises, the Ahuja family stands together.
