Another Bollywood celebrity who has been in the news lately is Govinda who recently had a mishap at his home in Mumbai where he shot himself in the leg while trying to clean his revolver. Thankfully the 60-year-old actor has improved drastically and was transferred from the ICU to a general ward on Wednesday as his family reported. His daughter Tina Ahuja in a letter written to PTI said; “Papa is getting better, God has been very kind. Please continue prayer for him as well as for all of us. He has been moved from the ICU to a normal ward; everything is OK now.”

Tina told the fans that Govinda is perfectly fine at the moment and also added that they are looking forward to his discharge soon as he has drips and antibiotics to help him recover. In agreement with his daughter’s words, Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja posted a message on DB’s Twitter account, urging the fans not to panic. She said with the supports of his fans, he could be discharged by Friday,” So many people are praying for him… “He will be able to start dancing in few months.”

Doctor’s reports showed that during the shooting incident Govinda was shot in his left thigh below the knee and was stitched 8-10 times. However, local police have also embarked on a similar probe into the matter despite no complaint being lodged by anybody.
