Gaurav Khanna Triumphs in India’s First Celebrity MasterChef, Bags Rs 20 Lakh and the Prestigious Golden Trophy

Actor Gaurav Khanna has achieved a glorious win in India’s first-ever Celebrity MasterChef, taking gracious home a fabulous golden trophy, the prized chef’s coat, and a check for over Rs 20 lakh. Gaurav’s impeccable television performances have now been further embellished with Celebrity MasterChef fame, proving to the nation that his talents go well beyond acting.

The grand announcement was made on Instagram by Sony Entertainment Television, commemorating Gaurav’s journey from TV screen to MasterChef title awardee. The cooking competition, which had well-known Indian celebrity contestants, was judged by eminent culinary personalities like Farah Khan, Vikas Khanna, and Ranveer Brar. The finale was also made memorable with a surprise appearance by the legendary chef Sanjeev Kapoor.

Among the fierce competition, Nikki Tamboli was declared as the first runner-up, while Tejasswi Prakash held the second runner-up title. Their culinary expertise and creativity left the audience entranced throughout the season. Participating in Celebrity MasterChef India were other familiar faces and names like Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, Abhijeet Sawant, Rajiv Adatia, Faisal Shaikh, and Usha Nadkarni, each adding their unique flavor and charm to the already star-studded competition.

The grand finale had its share of emotional moments, excitement, and a sense that everybody was on the same side. After tasting his dish, Farah Khan, Ranveer Brar, and Sanjeev Kapoor warmly embraced him, praising his growth and passion. Sanjeev Kapoor went on to say: “Ab tak shayad emotions se bhag kar yahan tak pahuche ho. Aaj se zindagi shuru karo, emotions se jud ke.” Those touching words brought tears to Gaurav’s eyes, as they did for many fans watching from home across the country.
