For Ram Charan fans, this marks his return to the big screen after the massive success of RRR nearly five years ago. This time, he shoulders a gripping political thriller with a strong storyline.

Storyline

The film revolves around Ram (Ram Charan), an angry college student who refuses to tolerate injustice. His straightforward nature often lands him in trouble, but he draws inspiration from a fellow student (played by Kiara Advani), who encourages him to channel his anger towards meaningful societal change. Motivated by her advice, Ram clears the IAS exam and returns as a district collector to his hometown.

Here begins his battle against corrupt politicians, manipulative money games, and vote-bank politics. The story showcases how greedy voters are exploited by leaders who offer temporary benefits during elections, only to betray them afterward. Ram Charan plays a dual role, portraying both the father and son, and delivers a stellar performance in both avatars. SJ Surya impresses with his portrayal of the antagonist.

The film, which runs close to three hours, features four lavishly shot songs, with director Shankar reportedly spending ₹75 crores on their production. While Kiara Advani looks stunning, her character lacks depth and fails to make a lasting impact.
