Divya Khossla brought attention to the issue of the alleged inflated box office earnings of ‘Jigra’ on social media. Filmmaker Vasan Bala recently responded to these allegations during an interview with the Hollywood Reporter.

Vasan Bala revealed that ‘Savi’ was released while ‘Jigra’ was being edited, and clarified that the film is not a duplication. He mentioned that all individuals have the opportunity to view it and form their own opinions. I have no desire to undermine anyone or escalate the situation. I believe that false reservations are actually a matter of distribution. I believe it’s not unclear at all, but everyone who can research and uncover information is encouraged to do so.

Vasan Bala expressed his struggles in dealing with the film’s disappointing box office results and stated that he feels disappointed by producers Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt. He accepted complete blame for the mainstream movie industry’s inability to meet box office projections.

Regarding ‘Jigra’

The movie features Alia in the role of Satya Anand, a determined woman focused on saving her brother Ankur Anand (played by Vedang Raina) from a prison in another country. Satya pledges to combat for his liberty. Apart from them, Manoj Pahwa and Rahul Ravindran are also featured in the film. Reports indicate that ‘Jigra’ will be available for streaming on Netflix following its time in theaters.
