Shah Rukh Khan’s first TV show, ‘Fauji,’ is set to make a comeback on television screens. First shown in 1989, the show will be aired again on Doordarshan, airing all 13 episodes starting October 24, Thursday. Fans can enjoy watching the iconic show on DD National, with episodes airing Monday through Thursday for a nostalgic experience.

After ‘Fauji,’ Shah Rukh Khan continued his acting career with roles in the TV show “Circus” by Aziz Mirza, as well as in “Idiot,” “Umeed,” “Wagle Ki Duniya,” and the English movie “In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones.” His film career started in 1992 with the successful “Deewana,” co-starring Divya Bharti and Rishi Kapoor.
Fauji show
‘Fauji’, helmed by Raj Kumar Kapoor, depicts the intense training of a commando unit in the Indian Army. This was Shah Rukh Khan’s first appearance on television, playing the role of Lt. Abhimanyu Rai. The show also included standout acting by performers like Rakesh Sharma as Major Vikram ‘Vicky’ Rai, Amina Shervani as Kiran Kochar, Manjula Avtar as Captain Madhu Rathore, and Vishwajeet Pradhan, Sanjay Taneja, Vikram Chopra, and Jayshree Arora. At first, Rakesh was planned to be the main character, while SRK was expected to play a supporting role.

Fauji 2 announcement
The follow-up to this famous series was recently revealed. Vicky Jain, known for his appearance on ‘Bigg Boss 17’, will portray Colonel Sanjay Singh in ‘Fauji 2’. This signifies Vicky’s first appearance in acting. Actress Gauahar Khan is set to play the role of Lieutenant Colonel Simarjeet Kaur, who trains cadets in weaponry.
