In an unfortunate incident, the mother of Bollywood dancers Farah Khan and Sajid Khan has left for heavenly abode at the age of 79 years. This saddening news comes in succession with Farah who through her Instagram account announced that her mother has been through several operations. Thus, it is still unclear what exactly happened, but, obviously, the loss is significant for the family and the movie world.

Farah’s Touching Tribute to Her Mother: Birthday celebration was on July 12 and Farah Khan, the well-known choreographer posted on Instagram a sweet message to her mother, who has been suffering from health issues, but still maintains her humorous nature. If there were any doubts about it, two photos accompanying her heartfelt note showed that Farah spoiled her mother too much and longed for the day when her mother would regain her strength. About her mother she wrote “We all for take our mothers for granted… especially me!” She appreciated Menaka’s strength and added “This past month has been a revelation on how much I love my mom Menaka… she is the strongest, bravest person I have ever seen.. sense of humor remains strong even after multiple surgeries”.

A Single Mother’s Struggles and Legacy: Farah was adopted by Menaka Irani, however, Menaka was not only a mother to Farah and Sajid but also a sister to Daisy Irani, who acted in movies and Honey Irani, a script writer. Taking full charge of taking care of the kids when their dad succumbed to death, she ensured that the kids grew up knowing the importance of integrity and self reliance. Farah has made different interviews where she has described her mother style of raising them and even narrated her mother who threatened to evict her if she got a husband too early. Further, and in an exclusive interview with Nova IVF Fertility’s YouTube channel, Farah recalled her family’s rather progressive approach to marriage at a young age as her mother wanted her to secure a job first.
