In an interview , the ‘Delhi Belly’ actor discussed recent news regarding his connection with Lekha and expressed surprise at the response. He expressed surprise that prior photos of them at Ira Khan’s wedding, in which their faces were clearly visible, did not appear to make their relationship obvious to the public. Instead, a recent silhouette shot uploaded by Lekha drew notice and verified their relationship for many.

The actor, who has a daughter named Imara with his ex-wife Avantika Malik, stressed the importance of being an involved father. For him, fatherhood has always been one of the most essential experiences he aspired to, along with the obligations that came with it.

Imran agrees that, despite efforts to limit her exposure to technology, his daughter Imara is nevertheless aware of the outside world, which is an unavoidable reality. Imran remarked that while Imara is at school, she may be recognized by others who say, “She is Imran’s daughter,” resulting in people attempting to photograph her, which he finds unusual.
