Munawar Faruqui walks out as the winner of the first season of the reality show Lock Upp. In the show, Munawar was seen getting cosy with one of her co-contestants, Anjali Arora. Taking a dig at it, the show’s host Kangana Ranaut reminded Faruqui that he has a girlfriend outside the show. He responded that he shares a pure bond of friendship with Anjali.
Munawar Talking about his relationship with Nazil, Munawar said he was being protective. He said, “I’ve known Nazil for a year now, and we have been dating for a few months. The situation inside the house was not right to talk about Nazil.”
“As I was inside the show and she was outside, I was not there with her at that moment in the outside world, so I refrained from revealing her identity. There are different aspects of us about which we are protective in our lives. I don’t think it is wrong to be protective of our loved ones, and when I came out, I posted her picture”.
