Daily soap Queen Ekta Kapoor welcomes baby boy via surrogacy
Good news is pouring down television and Bollywood since last year. Where few of them are tying knots, others are welcoming new members in their family. One such celebrity is Ekta Kapoor who is over the moon these days as she welcomed a baby boy via surrogacy. She is an Indian Producer and director also known as daily soap queen who became a mother on January 27, 2019. In the year 2016, her brother, actor Tushar Kapoor also had a baby boy, Laksshaya Kapoor through IVF surrogacy.
In an interview, Tushar stated, “I felt the time was running out fast and I couldn’t wait to have a family, have a child. That’s something I won’t be able to do as I grow older. I can always get married. That’s why I decided to become a single parent.”

Ekta Kapoor also didn’t walk down the aisle and followed the footsteps of his brother Tushar Kapoor. A number of times, Ekta has been asked about getting married and having a family but every time she has spoken about not getting married as she was not ready for handling the responsibilities. But her views were getting affected after being closely attached to her nephew, Laksshaya, Tushar Kapoor’s son.
Talking about her work life, last year Ekta produced two Bollywood movies, Veere Di Wedding and Laila Majnu. Her lined up projects for this year include Mental Hai Kya starring Kangana Ranaut and Raj Kumar Rao, Dream Girl starring Ayushman Khurana and Nushrat Bharucha, Jabariya Jodi and Dolly Kitty aur Woh Chamakte Sitare.
