Dulquer Salmaan recently addressed fan reactions and the challenges of balancing work across different film industries. The talented actor, known for his work in Malayalam cinema, is now gaining recognition in other regional industries, including Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. During a discussion around the film’s trailer, fans praised Dulquer’s impressive command of Telugu, with one commenter expressing surprise at his fluency. Another follower, however, took a different tone, pointing out that Dulquer’s focus on Telugu projects could signal a lack of attention to Malayalam cinema, leading some fans from his home state to feel overlooked. Dulquer acknowledged the tension, describing it as a “good problem to have.” However, he admits it’s difficult to please everyone, noting that such comments highlight the unique challenges he faces in juggling projects across multiple languages and regions.

“I can’t stop the trolls,” Dulquer admitted, while affirming his commitment to Malayalam cinema, with two films currently in production. Reflecting on his career, he explained that each language industry offers different opportunities that he cannot always find in others. “. What I do in Tamil, I don’t get to do in Hindi. What I get to do in Hindi, I don’t get to do in Malayalam,” he said, emphasizing the challenges of keeping everyone satisfied.

Despite the varied expectations from audiences, Dulquer hopes to find a balance by aiming to complete three to four films per year, ideally rotating among different industries. In a perfect scenario, he would sign a project on Monday and complete it by Friday, allowing for greater flexibility. Yet, as he approaches 40, he acknowledges that health concerns and personal priorities occasionally slow his pace.

For now, Dulquer is focused on promoting Lucky Baskhar, a film expected to showcase his versatility. Although he may not be able to appease every fanbase all at once, Dulquer remains optimistic, preferring to stay dedicated to his craft and focus on what he loves most—acting.
