The group, known for its camaraderie and bond, shared heartfelt group photos, marking a collective farewell to their beloved leaders ahead of their enlistment.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), BTS’ official account shared the group photos, accompanied by a message in Korean that translates to, “Have a nice trip (purple heart emoji). Fighting (purple heart emoji).” Against the backdrop of their training camp in Nonsan, the seven members of BTS—Suga, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, RM, and V—posed for these emotional snapshots, symbolizing unity and strength amid the upcoming separation.

Jin’s Heartfelt Message as V and RM Set Sail
Adding a personal touch, Jin, another member of BTS, took to Instagram to share a cute photo of himself with RM and V, expressing his wishes for their safety. In his Korean caption, he wrote, “Don’t get hurt and drive safely my babies,” encapsulating the mix of emotions felt by both the members and their dedicated fanbase.

On the day of V and RM’s enlistment, fellow BTS members, Jimin and Jungkook, also made an appearance to show their support. Thoughts from RM and V on Military Duty
Expressing his sentiments on Weverse, V conveyed, “I think I’ll be fine except for one thing, that I won’t be able to make happy memories with you for a while, which is the hardest part.” RM, too, shared his thoughts, acknowledging potential moments of loneliness but viewing the 18 months as an opportunity for personal growth and inspiration.
BTS: A Pause in Group Activities
This farewell comes after BTS announced a break from group projects in June 2022. Members have since pursued individual endeavours, with Jin, the eldest, enlisting last December, followed by J-Hope in April and Suga in August. As fans brace for a hiatus, the group’s spirit remains unbroken, leaving them eagerly anticipating a reunion in 2025 when all members are expected to have completed their military service.
