The movie Rockstar was the biggest movie of 2011. It took the whole country by storm. The chants ‘Sadda Haq’ were heard everywhere. The movie was directed by Imtiaz Ali and starred Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri. The music from this movie instantly went viral and are still very popular among the audience. The film also stars Shammi Kapoor, who makes his last silver-screen appearance. The heartbreaking story and the fantastic job done by the actors makes it a must-watch for all.

Ra One is another fan favourite. The movie stars Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor. In the movie, Shahrik has a double role, one as a scientist and one as a robot. The movie has some extremely famous soundtracks like Chammak Challo. The movie also features Arjun Rampal as the antagonist, Ra One. The story revolves around Shekhar, who, on the demands of his son, creates a game where the protagonist is weaker than the antagonist. The movie follows the events when both these characters come alive.

The movie, as the title suggests, is about caste based reservation. The movie has an ensemble cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Manoj Bajpayee, Deepika Padukone, and Prateik Babbar. This movie is a socio- political drama that revolves around highly controversial decisions made by the government on the policy regarding government jobs and admission into educational institutions on the basis of caste based reservation. The movie has some beautiful music and a strong social message.

Directed by Nikhil Advani, Patiala House is a sports drama movie. The movie has a great cast, starring Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. In the movie, Akshay Kumar plays the role of Gattu, who is a fast bowler. There’s friction between the relationship of Gattu and his father who hates the sport Cricket. Akshay’s father is played by the late actor, Rishi Kapoor. The movie has some funny scenes and some really emotional ones. It talks of conflict in a family and how the situation turns out for the rest of the members.

The movie stars an ensemble cast that includes Priyanka Chopra in the lead role, with Vivaan Shah, Irrfan Khan, Annu Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, John Abraham, Aleksandr Dyachenko, Naseeruddin Shah and Usha Uthup in supporting roles. The movie is about Susannah and the mysterious deaths of her seven husbands. The soundtrack of the movie is great and includes the popular song Darling. The movie has also received universal critical acclaim.
