This heart touching film revolves around a household Chanda who makes a lot of sacrifices to fulfil her daughter Apu’s dream. Chanda enrols herself in Apu’s class and what then follows is an emotional and inspiring journey which is going to leave you teary-eyed.
5. Mirch Masala
This film is an epic in its own right! It is all about women power and the mental fortitude and courage of a woman to stand against all odds. The famous climax scene in this movie is unforgettable, in which the women in the spice mill throw fists full of spice as an act of defiance.
