However, some are left deprived of this golden moment due to medical reasons and complications. To help those, medical science introduced methods like surrogacy and IVF (In Vitro Fertilization). And clearly Bollywood Celebrities are taking advantage of it.
Surrogacy is a method or agreement whereby a woman agrees to carry a pregnancy for another person or persons.
IVF, or In-Vitro Fertilization, is a treatment for infertility that involves the collection of eggs and sperm cells, which are then fertilized in an IVF laboratory and develop into embryos. These embryos are embedded in the woman’s uterus, where they attach to the walls and cause pregnancy.
These methods had brought happiness to the lives of many. However, we are here discussing some Bollywood Celebrities who had cherished parenthood via surrogacy or IVF.
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao
On 5th December 2011, Aamir and Kiran became parents of their first child (son: Azad Rao Khan) via surrogacy. In a letter Aamir and Kiran opened about the new concept of surrogacy. Due to medical issues the couple were facing difficulty to have a child.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s third child, Abram Khan was born through surrogacy on May 27, 2013. As per the reports, after trying for 2 years, the couple decided to choose surrogacy after dropping the idea of adoption.
