Baby John Box Office Day 8: Pushpa 2 and Mufasa Eclipse Varun Dhawan’s Film

Baby John, the latest action-packed film starring Varun Dhawan, has been facing tough competition at the box office. On its eighth day, the film’s collections have been overshadowed by the continued success of Pushpa 2 and the impressive performance of Mufasa. According to recent reports, Baby John has managed to collect around ₹12.50 crore on its first day, but its earnings have been declining steadily since then.

Pushpa 2, on the other hand, has been dominating the box office, with its third-week collections surpassing ₹19.75 crore on its 21st day. The film has already garnered over ₹1,109 crore nett in India, with the Hindi version contributing ₹716.65 crore nett. Mufasa, the animated feature from Disney, has also been performing well, collecting ₹14.25 crore nett on its sixth day and accumulating ₹67.85 crore nett in the Indian market.

The competition from these two films has affected Baby John’s box office performance, with the film experiencing a notable decline in its collections on subsequent days. Despite featuring a strong cast, including Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi, Baby John has only managed to cross the ₹20 crore mark on its fourth day. The film’s overall performance has been modest, with a Hindi occupancy rate of 24.97% on its debut.

Varun Dhawan’s return to the main lead after two years has not been able to generate the expected buzz, with the film’s collections being outshone by Pushpa 2 and Mufasa. The film’s producers had invested an estimated budget of ₹180 crore, but the returns so far have been disappointing.
