Aisa nahi tha.”. Toh hum log matlab… ladhko ke saath khelte the. (I come from an army background. So for us, it wasn’t that only girls were friends. We played with kitchen sets and other toys, and it wasn’t just girls who were our friends. We played with boys as well.) This gave a refreshing perspective on how Anushka’s upbringing influenced her ease with male friendships, making her approach to relationships fundamentally different from what many might expect.
