Anil Kapoor Becomes the Only Indian Recognized in TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in AI 2024 for His Groundbreaking Efforts in Protecting Intellectual Property Rights

India’s legendary actor Anil Kapoor has earned another feather in his cap as he was recently honored in TIME Magazine’s 2024 list of the 100 most influential personalities in Artificial Intelligence. Kapoor deserves a great recognition for the strenuous he has made to reign in use of AI especially in defending the infringement of the intellectual property. This honor proves that Kapoor’s footprint is not limited to the entertainment sphere and underlines his fight for personal rights in the digital world.

It was on Friday, 6th of September that Anil Kapoor use social media to announce the news and extend heartfelt appreciation over the accolade. In his note of reflection, he went on to say, “With much thanks and a small heart, I share my company and be among the dreamers building the future of Artificial Intelligence… This is TIME recognition and that not just means an honor, but a awakening of a thought on the journey of innovation and creativity.

In this year, Kapoor fought a progressive case against the improper use of artificial intelligence in Delhi High Court. He wanted to prevent the use of name, image as well as voice that is why they cannot be used by other people especially in cyberspace without permission. This victory of his has seen him being an example for other personalities.
