Ananya Panday’s Electrifying ‘What Jhumka’ Dance Lights Up Wankhede Before MI vs KKR Clash in IPL 2025

Catch the electric cricket and dazzling performances by the stars at IPL 2025. Opening ceremonies at every venue gave an added glitter to the matches this year. Among other things, all venues have been blessed to have their own opening celebrations this year, which adds an extra special flavor to matches. It was Ananya Panday later on Monday evening who aggrandized Wankhede Stadium before the much awaited battle of Mumbai Indians (MI) against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The young diva dazzled the audience with her dance moves as she danced to famous Bollywood tracks, including What Jhumka from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Thunderous noisy cheers and applause erupted from fans as Ananya hit center stage in the entire stadium.

Chunky Panday was also present in the stands to watch the richly emotional moment; the father of Ananya, was proud of her daughter and shared a clip of his daughter performance on Instagram tag it, “Absolute electrifying atmosphere,” which says everything about the energy buzzing inside the stadium.

Ananya’s performance was just a small part of this mega mall called IPL 2025. Shah Rukh Khan, Virat Kohli, and many others managed to steal the thunder; they wowed the audiences, including Shreya Ghoshal, Disha Patani, and Karan Aujla with their scintillating performances.

The toss went to MI captain Hardik Pandya, who decided to bowl first because he expected early swing and dew towards the later part of the game; his plans worked wonders because Mumbai Indians were clearly on the winning side, with an 8-wicket margin over the KKR. Suryakumar Yadav sealed the victory with a classic six, thus adding joy to the home crowd.

Meanwhile, KKR has seen its share of highs and lows this season in the IPL. After their first loss in their season opener against RCB, they bounced back with a strong victory over Rajasthan Royals. Contrariwise, the match against MI turned into a disaster as Mumbai’s bowlers and batters exceeded KKR in all respect.

With Bollywood and cricket seamlessly intertwined, IPL 2025 remains the best in terms of entertainment blended with sports to keep the fans drunk every moment on and off the field.
