CTRL Trailer Released: Ananya Panday and Vihaan Samat Navigate Love, Betrayal, and the Power of AI in the Digital Age
The trailer of CTRL, starring Ananya Panday and Vihaan Samat, is finally out and it will definitely leave you intrigued. CTRL is a modern drama intertwined with elements of suspense in which the concept of identity amidst the growing influence of artificial intelligence is questioned. The trailer shows a perfect influencer couple whose world comes crashing down after the boyfriend betrays his girlfriend. In order to make herself forget her ex-boyfriend, the lead girl experiments with an AI application that erases people from her memory. It raises interesting questions about love, memory and how technology has taken over our lives today.

CTRL is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and co-written by Avinash Sampath. It stars Devika Vatsa, Suchita Trivedi, Kamakshi Bhat. Set to be released on October 4th, 2024 on Netflix. The film will introduce a unique narrative format that Motwane calls a “screen life” where the story unfolds in such a way that you feel like you’re literally seeing someone else’s screen all the time thus enhancing and adding to the voyeuristic nature of our relationship with technology on an everyday basis.

The character of Nella, played by Ananya, seems like a mirror image for many of us, in this world where she has to keep her social media game on point opposing to what she is offline. Talking about which Ananya says “CTRL is exactly about that. CTRL is that intersection between the reality and virtual world.” With such interesting concept based story & power house of amazing actors the movie looks promising enough and now streaming.
