To Meseglopolis premiere at the red carpet, Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore a black gown which was designed by Falguni & Shane Peacock. She is a Cannes regular of about two decades standing, and she appeared last night in a black chiffon frock decorated with 3D metallic flowers and gold accents, seemingly glad to be there.

The custom-made design sported a corset-like shape and full-length train. The 50-year-old actor was at the premiere of Coppola’s latest film Megalopolis with Adam Driver. Her left hand is covered with a cast, it’s unknown what caused her to get injured and wear the cast.
Aishwarya Rai and her daughter, Aaradhya, who have been taking part in the film gala lately as well, came to Cannes on Thursday. The mother daughter team had their presence acknowledged, and they got a bouquet of flowers when they landed their steps at The French Riviera.
Modelling giants like Aishwarya Rai, alongside other industry celebrities such as Kiara Advani, Sobhita Dhulipala and Aditi Rao Hydari, are anticipated to grace the world-renowned Cannes red carpet over the next few days.

Part of the globally renowned festival is the presentation of the several Indian films and other productions. The main highlight will be Payal Kapadia’s film All We Imagine As Light, that has been picked in the competition section of the festival and the grand prize of Palme d’Or.
In this edition, 77th, the Foreign-Indian director Sandhya Suri’s deep-drama Santosh has been selected for the section Un Certain Regard, the short film made by Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) students ,Sunflowers Were the First Ones to Know, has been shortlisted as part of the La Cinef Competitive section.
Karan Kandhari’s Sister Midnight will debut in Directors’ Fortnight and Maisam Ali’s compelling work, In Retreat, will be screened in L’Acid.
