Aamir Khan Celebrates Vinesh Phogat’s Paris Olympics Effort in Video Call; Fans Buzz About the Possibility of Dangal 2 Following Their Reunion

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan recently had a video call with wrestler Vinesh Phogat and this has sparked rumors that there might be a sequel to the blockbuster 2016 film, ‘Dangal’. The call in which Aamir praised Vinesh for the “mind blowing show” at Paris Olympics was photographed and the snapshots soon went viral on social media. Lo and behold the two giant sports personalities are seen to be chatting and this triggered various comments implying that Dangal 2 might be on the pipeline.

The photos showed both Aamir and Vinesh as happy while talking, with Aamir complimenting Vinesh on her fighting spirit even though she came out a loser in the Olympics. Another fan page posted the pictures on Instagram with marked how Aamir supported Vinesh and told her that she thinks like a champion. The nostalgia could be attributed to former wrestler Kripa Shankar who they said had trained Dangal cast, years ago.

The first Dangal film showed the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat, played by Aamir, who prepares daughters for becoming the world champions wrestlers. Against this setting, the video call with Vinesh has created a belief among the fans about the possible sequel. Twitter was full of responses such as ‘Dangal 2 is coming!!’, ‘Two champions together.’ Hence people wanted the sequel of Dangal. Although there has been no official confirmation regarding the shooting of the movie, the fans are looking forward to any information about Aamir Khan and Vinesh Phogat together.
