A.R. Rahman, the music maestro, was rushed to Apollo Hospital in Greams Road, Chennai, after he experienced sudden pains in his neck. The Oscar-winning music director is now under observation from doctors. Sources say Rahman consulted the doctor after returning from his recent foreign trip. This is just weeks after the former wife of Rahman, Saira Banu, was also admitted to the hospital for an emergency. It is said that Saira has undergone some kind of surgery and is now focusing on recovery. Through her lawyer, Vandana Shah, there was a release statement thanking those who supported her.
