1. A Seema Pahwa’s Directorial Debut
Seema Pahwa, an Indian actress and now a filmmaker has for the first time, attempted to make a film, and let’s just acknowledge that she has nailed the art of direction in every bit. Pahwa started her career with the serial, Hum log for the very first time and since then, she has given some of the greatest acting performances including her performance in Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017) for which she was even nominated for the Filmfare Awards. The actress has not tried her hands-on filmmaking and that is a fair enough reason why you should be watching the film.

Ram Prasad ki Tehrvi is a personal film with the most organic approach. The film is based on the play ‘Pind Daan’ which itself was written by Pawha. The film is not really about the family mourning Ramprasad’s Death but a mirror to our families and the underlying politics even with the close family member. And that’s how it becomes extremely personal in approach.
5. A Taste of Life Film that will leave you with questions, hope and life
The film can comfortably land in the dark comedy genre within which, Death can be seen as a tabooed yet dark incident of its own. This film has intricate moments when you can question yourself as a human, as a person in your family or might question your family dynamics too. But as it ends, it will make you see the brighter side and fill you with life and hope.
