Until now, I have never requested anything from the party. Individuals from Haryana are coming to see me. In Ambala, even people wonder why I, being the most senior, did not become CM. In March, Saini took over as chief minister, replacing Manohar Lal Khattar. When questioned about Saini being named as a chief ministerial candidate, Vij stated, “There is no restriction on asserting the claim.” “I will state my case, let the party make a decision.” The statements were given by the six-time MLA despite the party’s prior announcement that Nayab Singh Saini will be appointed as chief minister if the BJP is successful in the upcoming elections. Saini is also being presented as the party’s top candidate for chief minister in the elections.

Voting for the 90 assembly seats in Haryana is scheduled for October 5, with the results being calculated on October 8.
