Mumbai-India The Symphony Orchestra of India (SOI) is thrilled to announce an unforgettable musical experience featuring two of the world’s most renowned conductors, Zubin Mehta and Mark Elder. The spectacular event will showcase operatic gems performed by esteemed vocalists, promising an evening of sublime music and unparalleled artistry.
A Musical Masterclass
The SOI, under the baton of Zubin Mehta and Mark Elder, will perform a carefully curated selection of operatic masterpieces, Mehta, a global musical icon, will lead the orchestra in performances of Verdi’s La Traviata and Puccini’s Tosca. Elder, a distinguished conductor known for his interpretations of British music, will conduct excerpts from Gilbert and Sullivian’s The Mikado and Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius.
