Several media reports state that they, along with five others, have cheated a dance group. A case was registered against them last Saturday in the Thane district.

In response to the allegations, Remo took to Instagram to address the situation. “We have learnt that a complaint has been made against us from multiple media reports,” he said. We have been accused of cheating on a dance group. . I regret to say that such news is being published about us.” He emphasized that these reports are false and that rumors are being spread about them.

Remo also expressed his commitment to cooperating with the authorities regarding the case. He mentioned, “We are leaving our case on time. In this case, we will fully cooperate with the authorities. We will help them as we have been doing so far.” He thanked his family, friends, and fans for their support, stating, “The way they shower love on us means a lot to us.”

According to reports, the fraud case against Remo, Lizelle, and others was initiated by a 26-year-old dancer. An official confirmed that on October 16, a complaint was filed at the Mira Road police station. Sections 465 (forgery), 420 (fraud), and other pertinent Indian Penal Code clauses are the basis for the complaint’s registration.

The FIR indicates that the complainant and his group were allegedly deceived between 2018 and July 2024. The dancer claimed that their group had performed and won a television show, and that the accused pretended the group was theirs to claim the prize money of Rs 12 crore.

Remo D’Souza firmly stated that these accusations are false, asserting that the rumours circulating on social media lack any basis.
