According to BJP sources, New Delhi MLA Parvesh Verma is poised to take on the role of Deputy CM, while Rohini MLA Vijender Gupta has been designated as the speaker of the Delhi Assembly. The BJP regained power in Delhi after a span of 27 years, securing a definite majority with 44 out of 70 seats in the Assembly election, the results of which were announced on February 8. The inauguration ceremony for the new Chief Minister is set for February 20 at Ramlila Maidan.

The ceremony for the new Chief Minister and cabinet ministers of Delhi is scheduled for Thursday at Ramlila Maidan, and the event’s theme is expected to focus on the consecration ceremony at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. In addition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, well-known BJP MPs and leading NDA figures are also anticipated to participate in the event.
Rekha Gupta said: ‘This reflects Modi ji’s vision… provided an opportunity to an ordinary girl from an ordinary family.’
This is Modi Ji’s concept for development driven by women. He provided an opportunity to an ordinary girl from an ordinary family, states Rekha Gupta.
The CM designate stated, “A new era of development is coming for Delhi, and its residents will receive their rights.” I will strive with my full ability and integrity. “Every initiative for women initiated by PM Modi will be executed by us.”
Rekha Gupta states that every elder has supported me in my fight.
All the elders have supported me in my journey. Over the past decade, you have cared for me. “I’m not sure how to express my gratitude,” says BJP MLA and Chief Minister-designate Rekha Gupta.
Surrounded by supporters and the press upon arriving at her home, the CM-designate expressed, “I appreciate everyone who has come here, my seniors, my friends.” You have witnessed my challenges and stood by me through them, particularly over the past decade; I am at a loss for how to express my gratitude to you all. The duty I carry is a consequence of your affection and support. PM Modi deemed me qualified enough to elevate me to this role. I appreciate everyone and would like to ask that, since we need to attend the oath-taking ceremony, we should conclude this meeting now. We will continue to meet again. I want to take pictures with all of you. I would like everyone to attend the oath-taking ceremony tomorrow. “Thank you all.”
