Since 1978 the Indian Coast Guard agency dedicated to maritime search and rescue and law enforcement has celebrated its 45th year on February 1st 2025. The nation unites to honor the Indian Coast Guard personnel through celebrations which recognize their brave spirit and sincere dedication and outstanding bravery.
Through its long-standing existence since 1978 the Indian Coast Guard protects maritime borders and prevents smuggling and piracy and assists fisherman and maritime community members who need rescue.
