Payal Malik’s exit after being evicted from the house was met with controversy, as many felt it was unjust. Since then, the first wife of Armaan Malik and a YouTuber have been actively taking part in interviews where they have been open and honest about personal matters, such as their relationship with her husband and his second wife, Kritika Malik. She talked about the abuse they received in the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house for advocating polygamy on a larger scale.

Payal claimed to be Armaan’s legal wife, not Kritika, in response to inquiries from the media concerning the propriety of Armaan refusing to convert to Islam and being married to a different woman. She made it clear: “I am his spouse by law. The marriage between Kritika and Armaan ji is invalid. But as far as I’m aware, it’s not against the law if the first wife doesn’t object to her husband getting married again.”
Payal further said, “We have never advocated for polygamy, as our fans are aware of.” We have never advertised it, not even in our vlogs or interviews. Any mistake that Armaan made, I don’t think any Indian man should make. I don’t think anyone else could sustain it the way we did. Nothing hurts a woman more, in my opinion, than when her partner brings a new woman home. Nobody else, in my opinion, could handle it.”
It hasn’t been easy for any of us, but I was undoubtedly the most impacted. Now Armaan ji, Kritika and I cannot survive without him. He, however, is unable to part from any of us. I felt betrayed and cut off from him when he remarried. I endured several challenges during my more than year-long absence from my son. When I returned, we made the decision to resolve our differences. Thankfully, we are a peaceful family now, and nothing will ever be able to separate us,” she continued.
Payal revealed that she had urged Armaan and Kritika to put their children’s needs aside and concentrate on the game.
