Yogi Adityanath lays foundation for Ingka’s shopping destination in Noida
According to state Minister for Industrial Development Nand Gopal Gupta, Ingka Centres plans to invest Rs 5,500 crore in Lykli’s development, creating around 9,000 jobs. This announcement was made on Monday.
On Monday, Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, lay the groundwork for Lykli, a retail destination that Ingka Centres, a division of the Ingka Group, which runs the Ikea Retail and Ingka Investments brands, plans to create in Noida by 2028.
Uttar Pradesh has entered a “new century of development,” according to Adityanath. “The government is focused on its vision of ‘One District One Product,’ with an emphasis on skill development of youths and embracing traditional industries,” he stated, noting that this program has “become one of the most popular schemes in India today.”

The first such gathering spot with a hotel and office space to be developed in Uttar Pradesh is Lykli. The chief minister added that Uttar Pradesh’s business-friendly environment has contributed to the state’s declining unemployment rate. “I think this [the unveiling of Lykli] will set a true example of that,” Adityanath stated. “Investment should be equated with employment.”
